현재 진행형 관련 문장

오늘은 쉽지만 자주 쓰지 않게 되는 문장인 다른 사람의 현재진행을 묘사하는 문장으로 예시를 생각해 보았습니다. 현재진행형을 쓸 수 없는 동사들도 아래에 추가로 나열하여 언급드릴 예정입니다. 문법적인 용어를 제외하고 생긴 형태가 동일한데, 동일한 방법으로 해석되지 않는 것은 정말 언어가 어려운 점이라는 생각이 듭니다. 하지만, 한국어를 배우는 외국인들도 동일한 어려움을 겪고 이는 언어의 다른 신기함이라고 오늘도 긍정적인 생각으로 바꾸어 봅니다. 이도 저도 아닌 말을 너무 주저리 작성하였습니다. 그럼 예문을 볼까요?

   • 그녀는 지역 보호소를 지원하기 위한 자선 행사를 준비하고 있어요.

앞서 언급한 진행형(현재, 과거, 미래 등등 몽땅) 쓰지 않는 동사를 작성해 보았습니다.

1. Know: I know the answer. (not "I am knowing the answer")
2. Believe: She believes in ghosts. (not "She is believing in ghosts")
3. Understand: He understands the problem. (not "He is understanding the problem")
4. Want: They want a new car. (not "They are wanting a new car")
5. Need: We need more time. (not "We are needing more time")
6. Like: She likes chocolate. (not "She is liking chocolate")
7. Love: He loves his family. (not "He is loving his family")
8. Hate: I hate waiting. (not "I am hating waiting")
9. Prefer: She prefers tea to coffee. (not "She is preferring tea to coffee")
10. Believe: They believe in fairies. (not "They are believing in fairies")
11. Own: He owns a car. (not "He is owning a car")
12. Belong: This book belongs to me. (not "This book is belonging to me")
13. Appear: She appears to be tired. (not "She is appearing to be tired")
14. Seem: He seems happy. (not "He is seeming happy")
15. Remember: I remember your name. (not "I am remembering your name")
16. Forget: She forgets his birthday every year. (not "She is forgetting his birthday every year")
17. Mean: What does this word mean? (not "What is this word meaning?")
18. Realize: I realize my mistake. (not "I am realizing my mistake")
