조동사의 과거, 현재완료, 현재진행, 현재완료진행, 수동형의 사용은 다음과 같습니다:

과거: 과거 시점에서 어떤 일이나 상황에 대한 가정이나 추측을 나타내기 위해 사용됩니다. 예를 들어, "I should have played games, but I decided to prioritize my homework"는 어떤 상황에서 과거에 게임을 해야 했지만, 숙제를 우선시키기로 결정한 것을 나타냅니다.

현재완료: 현재 시점에서 어떤 일이나 상황에 대한 완료된 동작이나 경험을 나타내기 위해 사용됩니다. 예를 들어, "I have should have played games, but I have ended up focusing on my homework"는 현재까지의 경험으로써, 게임을 해야 했지만, 숙제에 집중하게 된 것을 나타냅니다.

현재진행: 현재 시점에서 진행 중인 동작이나 상황을 나타내기 위해 사용됩니다. 예를 들어, "I am might have been playing games instead, but I am ending up focusing on my homework"는 현재 진행 중인 상황으로써, 게임을 하는 대신 숙제에 집중하게 되는 것을 나타냅니다.

현재완료진행: 현재 시점에서 진행 중인 동작이나 상황에 대한 완료된 경험을 나타내기 위해 사용됩니다. 예를 들어, "I have been might have been playing games instead, but I have been ending up focusing on my homework"는 현재까지 계속되고 있는 경험으로써, 게임을 하는 대신 숙제에 집중하게 되는 것을 나타냅니다.

수동형: 주어가 동작의 수동적인 수신자일 때 사용됩니다. 예를 들어, "Games might have been played by me instead, but I ended up focusing on my homework"는 게임이 내가 수동적으로 수행하는 대상이 되는 것을 나타냅니다.

과거: I finished my homework, but I wanted to play games with my friends.
현재완료: I have finished my homework, but I want to play games with my friends.
현재진행: I am finishing my homework, but I want to play games with my friends.
현재완료진행: I have been finishing my homework, but I want to play games with my friends.
수동형: My homework would have been done, but I wanted to play games with my friends.


"I could have been playing games, but I chose to do my homework instead." 

과거: I could have played games, but I chose to do my homework instead.
현재완료: I have had the opportunity to play games, but I have chosen to do my homework instead.
현재진행: I am having the opportunity to play games, but I am choosing to do my homework instead.
현재완료진행: I have been having the opportunity to play games, but I have been choosing to do my homework instead.
수동형: Games could have been played by me, but I chose to do my homework instead.

"I should have been playing games, but I decided to prioritize my homework."

과거: I should have played games, but I decided to prioritize my homework.
현재완료: I have should have played games, but I have decided to prioritize my homework.
현재진행: I am should have been playing games, but I am deciding to prioritize my homework.
현재완료진행: I have been should have been playing games, but I have been deciding to prioritize my homework.
수동형: Games should have been played by me, but I decided to prioritize my homework.
