IELTS WRITING 준비하면서 문장에 대해 내용을 하였습니다. 질문과 그에 대한 대답(영어/한국어), 수정한 영어문장을 작성하였습니다. 아래의 내용을 한번 같이 읽어보시고, 본인도 써보면 영작의 능력이 늘어날 것으로 예상됩니다. 아래에서 내용을 확인할 수 있습니다.

 

• Q: How serious is the birth rate problem in your country?

(너의 나라에서 출생률 문제가 얼마나 심각하니?)

In our country people didn't married and didn't want some their baby because we think babies press at me or the other person because we protect there. 

(우리 나라에서 사람들이 결혼하지 않고, 그들의 아이를 원하지 않습니다. 왜냐하면 우리가 아이들은 나 또는 다른 사람에게 아이가 강압이라고 생각하기 때문이다. 우리는 아이들을 지켜야 하기 때문이다.)

• Young people are delaying getting married and having children, or are not getting married or having children at all, because there is a lot of pressure to succeed at work, a lot of people work long hours and they don't have much free time. Also, as house prices are very high and are still rising, people are prioritizing home ownership over having children. For some young people, the idea of ever owning their own apartment or of having a family is out of reach. 
• (젊은 사람들은 결혼과 출산을 미루고 있거나, 결혼을 하지 않거나 아예 아이를 갖지 않고 있습니다. 개인의 자유시간, 집 가격이 높고 여전히 오르고 있기 때문에 사람들은 자녀를 갖는 것보과 집 소유를 우선시 하고 있습니다.) 

 

• Q: Explain why birthrates are in decline worldwide. 

I thought two section. First of all is women's power is more bigger and before the past. In 19th century woman didn't some work in our society and community, so most women didn't learn and study with the men. Power had the man and we didn't say we don't have some responsibility so it is very difficult thing so we learn and we participated in the society. we didn't have enough time, we earn the money and practice and sociality. Secondly our society is more enough because we have many things, we have some almost thing, we have three meal, we take a rest time, we don't some empty things. I think it's rest some things we can reflect. 

 

(나는 두 부분을 생각했다. 우선 여성의 힘이 더 크고 과거보다 앞서 있다. 19세기에 여성은 우리 사회와 공동체에서 일을 하지 않았기 때문에 대부분의 여성은 남성과 함께 배우고 공부하지 않았습니다. 권력은 그 사람을 가졌고 우리는 책임이 없다고 말하지 않았으므로 매우 어려운 일이므로 배우고 사회에 참여했습니다.시간이 부족하여 돈을 벌고 연습합니다. 그리고 사회성. 두 번째로 우리 사회는 더 충분합니다. 왜냐하면 우리에게는 많은 것이 있고, 거의 있는 것이 있고, 세 끼를 먹고, 휴식을 취하고, 빈 것이 없기 때문입니다. 나는 우리가 반성할 수 있는 몇 가지 나머지라고 생각합니다.)

• There are two main reasons why birthrates are declining worldwide. First of all, women are more powerful than they were in the past. In the 19th century women weren't able to take degrees or to work, they didn't have the same opportunity to work and study as men did. Now that women have more power and freedom, some are deciding that they don't want to have children or to be housewives; they'd prefer to focus on their career. In some ways, the modern world is more exciting than before - there is all kinds of technology and entertainment, and both women and men maybe don't feel like they need children to be fulfilled. However, on the other hand, young people are struggling more financially than their parents' generation, especially in terms of housing prices and rental costs.

 

• (전 세계적으로 출산율이 감소하는 데는 두 가지 주요 이유가 있습니다. 우선, 여성은 과거보다 더 강력해졌습니다. 19세기에 여성들은 학위를 받거나 일할 수 없었고 남성들처럼 일하고 공부할 기회도 없었습니다. 여성이 더 많은 권한과 자유를 가지게 되면서 일부 사람들은 자녀를 갖거나 주부가 되는 것을 원하지 않는다고 결정하고 있습니다. 그들은 자신의 경력에 집중하는 것을 선호합니다. 어떤 면에서 현대 세계는 이전보다 더 흥미진진합니다. 모든 종류의 기술과 엔터테인먼트가 있고 여성과 남성 모두 만족을 위해 자녀가 필요하다고 느끼지 않을 수 있습니다. 그러나 반면에 젊은이들은 특히 집값과 임대료 측면에서 부모 세대보다 재정적으로 어려움을 겪고 있습니다.)

2가지 관련해서 처음 작성하고, 그 문장으로 인해 다시 재수정 및 매끄러운 글쓰기를 해봤는데, 조금 부족한 부분이 있는 것으로 보입니다. 다음에는 한번 더 문장을 다듬고 그 중에 사용하기 좋은 단어, 혹은 동의어로 쓸 수 있는 것들에 대해 알아보도록 하겠습니다.
