영국유학을 준비하면서 필수적으로 IELTS를 공부하게 되는데요.(이렇게 저의 비루한 영어실력이 확인됩니다;;;;)

 

연구제안서를 쓰고, 그 외 수업에 참여하면서 왜 IELTS가 필요한지 알게되었습니다. 문단 하나를 예로 알려드리겠습니다.

Q: "Which methods do you think are the most effective for studying a new language?"

 (어떤 방법이 새로운 언어를 공부하는데 가장 효과적이라고 생각하나요?)

 

A1: Studying a new language has many methods. The best method in my case is to speak loudly with the article, movie’s description, and music song. These participants improve my language abilities such as remembering vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency. Another method is to study continually. Although we feel what doesn’t increase language skills better than we thought, we will be made if we don’t stop studying.

(Answer 1은 유학 오기 전에 제가 작성한 것인데, 무엇을 말하고자 한 것인지 정말... 모르겠네요;)

 

 

A2: Most students might be making their own methods of learning English. Of course, I have already used popular methods like speaking loudly in English, taking a video, and finding words from a dictionary(ENG-ENG). One of the best hard works is taking a video. Although it requires a lot of work as making scripts, practising speaking again and again, and looking at the camera lens, this video would be a great experience for me and material that can be remembered later.

(많은 학생들은 각자 영어공부를 하는 방법을 만들 것 입니다. 물론 저도 유명한 방법들을 사용하곤 했습니다. 영어를 크게 말하기, 비디오 찍기, 그리고 영어 사전을 이용한 영어단어 찾기가 있습니다. 그중 하나의 가장 어려우는 것은 비디오 찍기입니다. 비록 그것은 대본 만들기, 말하기 연습을 계속해서 하기, 카메라 렌즈를 보기와 같은 많은 일을 요구하지만, 그 비디오는 나에게 좋은 경험이 되고, 기억할 수 있는 자료가 될 수 있습니다.)

 

아래의 단어는 정말 쉬운데 남에게 다른 말로 설명할 수 없는데 이를 해결하기 위해서, 영-영 사전으로 극복할 수 있습니다.

저는 손쓰기를 하고 암기를 하는 편이라서 내용을 한 번 작성해 보았습니다.

*. require - to need something; to depend on somebody/something (e.g need, vital)

 

*. experience - practical contact with and observation of facts or events. (e.g incident, event, episode)

 

*. look at - to examine something closely (e.g watch, observe, spectate, examine, inspect) 

 

*. material - a substance that things can be made from (e.g matter, substance)
