영어 글쓰기 보완하기 (3)를 해보면서 틀린 문법이 무엇인지 생각해보는 계기를 만들고 있습니다.

 

(1) 

Usually when I'm reading articles or some books I'm using the translation.  I didn't catch some of meanings.  First I just read that then I check these things.
-> Usually I read articles and books with a translation, in case I don't know the meaning of every word.  My first reading, I read it carefully and think about it, before checking all the words I didn't know before.

I'm currently reading the book The Little Prince.  When I was young I read it in Korean, but it is difficult some in Korean.  It's like a puzzle and fit some meanings to the puzzle.
 -> I'm currently reading Oscar Wilde's The Little Prince.  I actually first read it when I was young, in Korean, but this is my first time discovering it in English.  I find translation is like a puzzle, fitting in the new words among the words I already know.

When I lived in my country I didn't read books, usually watching TV or watching things.  Nowadays I try to reading some books because it is possible to developing some skills.
 -> When I lived back in Korea, I didn't really read very much, and usually spent my free time watching TV.  Nowadays my motivation for reading is to develop my English - it's a really powerful way to develop language skills.

 

(4) 

Sometimes I didn't understand some class things or misunderstand - it was so terrible.  I just try writing and I have to ask some other people as I usually make some mistake so I want some feedback.
 -> We also have to write essays at my college, and this is hard because sometimes I don't fully understand our classes - and yet still have to write the essay.  I just try writing what I can, and then giving it to a friend to offer me feedback.

 

(5) 

I love some British food - some people disagree with that, I love fish and chip and scone. I didn't try some victoria sponge cake, also great maybe next week I'll try it.
-> Although it has a bad reputation, I love British food, particularly fish and chips, and scones.  I haven't yet tried victoria sponge cake, maybe next week.

 

*.  bad reputation: the opinion that people have about what somebody/something is like, based on what has happened in the past

In James Park I just look at people.  People these days look like festival.  At the Coronation Concert the space was amazing.  The second restaurant I went to was Thai restaurant.
 -> I like going to St James's Park and just people- watching.  People in London wear fantastic outfits.  The Coronation Concert too was an amazing thing to watch.  The only other restaurant I've been to was Thai, I've not been to a British restaurant yet.
